TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Arrival and Departure
The minimum stay in the villa is 4 nights. During the high season, from 15 December to 14 April and 1 July to 31 August, the minimum rental period is 7 nights. Time of arrival can be any time after 12:30 p.m. Access to the houses is not possible before 12:30 p.m. Check out is latest at 10 a.m. This gives our staff the opportunity to clean the villa for other guests. If you would like to spend the day of departure in the villa, you are required to book one extra night in advance to ensure this. Reservation on the day of departure is not possible.
Reservations, Payments and Deposits
Upon reserving with us, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 50% of the total rental fee. The deposit is to be paid within 10 days of the reservation date. You will then receive a booking confirmation via e-mail; your reservation is binding. If you do not pay the deposit in time, we will be forced to cancel your reservation. In case of a cancellation, we charge a cancellation fee of 90 euros. All reservations are binding; cancellations are not valid under any circumstances. We therefore recommend that you take out special travel insurance which accommodates these eventualities.
The remaining balance of the rental fee-including taxes-is payable no later than 4 (four) weeks before your arrival. You will receive an invoice accordingly.
In addition we ask you to pay a damage/utilities deposit of 600 Euro. This deposit will be returned to you within 7 (seven) days after your departure. It will be paid to the bank account of your choice. We will use this deposit to cover additional costs (electricity, for example-see pricelist) and any necessary costs incurred by damage to the property or inventory caused by you or a member of your company.
Maintenance
The villas are cared for by professional management. The caretaker will show you around the villa. Management will be available during your stay to answer your questions about the villa and to handle any problems. Management is on duty: Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The villas are cleaned twice a week. Clean sheets and towels will be provided at these times.
Damage to the Property or Inventory
We expect that you will treat our villas with care, as you would your own home. Nevertheless, accidents happen and damage or breaking may occur.
Please report to the management any damage to the villa or the inventory immediately. Repair costs will be paid from your deposit (if the amount is sufficient). Repairs costing in excess of your 600-euros damages deposit will also be charged to you.
Total Costs
Included in the rental fee is: the normal use of electricity (see price list), water, and maintenance of the garden and the swimming pools. Bed linens and towels are also included.
Not included are: the excessive use of electricity (see price list). Electricity meters in the villas will be read and recorded on the night you arrive and the day you leave. Cleaning upon departure is also not included (please see price list).
Transportation to and from the airport is not included. We can arrange transportation for you at additional cost. For more information please ask the management: info@besamevillas.com
Special Terms
Each villa has a private swimming pool for people who can swim. The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk; there is no lifeguard on duty! Please note that wood and tiles around the pools can become slippery. The proprietor and the management cannot be held responsible for any injury to you or to a member of your party during your stay in the villa. Please be careful!
Smoking Policy
For the convenience of all our guests, our smoking policy is clear: smoking is not permitted inside the houses. Smoking is permitted on the premises outdoors only. But please be careful! It is very dry and windy on Curaçao; a fire can start easily!
By renting the villa you agree to the abovementioned terms.
