THE ISLAND
Curacao is the biggest island of the ABC islands, and belongs to the Dutch Kingdom. The island is 472 m2 big and lies 70km from the coast of Venezuela. The highest point is the St. Christoffel and measures 372 meters.
Curacao has 165.000 inhabitants and approximately 50 different nationalities and makes the island a unique melting pot of cultures. The populations speaks four languages: Papiamento, Dutch, English and Spanish. Bon Dia, Bon Tardi and Ajoo are the most popular phrases for greeting people.
